Welcome to the brand new Headway East Northants website! Over the past 18 months we have worked incredibly hard to improve the services provided by the charity.
We have received much help and support, goods and services from many individuals and organisations. We owe a great deal to them and offer sincere thanks.
The development of this website is the launching pad for a new era in the charity’s
history and aims to promote the service to more brain injured people, their families
and carers as well as professionals thus encouraging new people to the service and
improving the life chances of brain injured people.
Headway East Northants’ aim is to be a dynamic and flexible service which provides therapeutic based activities, support & information and promotes education around Brain Injury within our community. The values underpinning Headway East Northants all stem from the need to provide a responsive service to those who have survived an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), their families, carers and professionals.
We were delighted to win funding to set up a community based outreach service enabling us to move out from our centre in Irthlingborough to brain injured people in communities throughout Northamptonshire.
All of the changes have come about due to the hard work of the staff, volunteers and trustees, with the support of the people who use our service.
