Thank you for providing such a great opportunity for me, I have benefited greatly,
most obviously the chance to be involved in a real, working environment to compliment
my studies. It has been fantastic working with you and the team, as well as the service
users. I never expected to get so much out of a placement and again thank you for
allowing me to be part of your team. -

The centre also offers both volunteer and placement opportunities. As a result we
have a dedicated team of enthusiastic, skilled volunteers who provide a wide variety
of knowledge and expertise within Headway East Northants. The volunteers are supported
through evaluation, training and supervision in order to help both them and Headway
East Northants to continue to make the most effective use of their time. Placement
students can gain valuable knowledge and experience through placements in the organisation
and emphasis is placed on facilitating the experience in a way which enriches their
studies and enhances the centre services.
Volunteering Opportunities
The charity aims to provide a stimulating and challenging service to brain injured
adults. As a result we are always looking for volunteers who have specific skills
that they would like to share with the service users. We believe that the only thing
that gets in the way of taking up exciting opportunities are the limits of our imagination.
If you have a particular interest or hobby or have a burning desire to support people
to become the best that they can be we can use you!
