The Centre provides a range of services to people with brain injury and their families
and carers and includes:
Assistance to regain lost skills and learn new ones in a supportive environment by
providing structured activities such as arts, crafts, computer skills, life skills
Provides a safe environment which gives an opportunity to gain support from others
and develop coping strategies
Addresses emotional and social needs
Provides day respite for carers and families
Facilitates access to activities and services within own communities
Enables people to live independently
Offers activities to improve cognitive and memory skills
Encourages social inclusion
Prepares people to return to work, education or volunteering
Raises awareness of brain injury and its consequences within Northamptonshire
